Moncove Lake

Moncove Lake is a 144-acre freshwater lake located in Monroe County, West Virginia. The lake was created in 1960 by damming the Indian Creek. The lake is surrounded by 250 acres of land that includes a campground, picnic areas, hiking trails, and a boat ramp. The lake is stocked with trout, catfish, and bass and is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and swimming. The park surrounding the lake is also home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, turkey, and eagles.
